Paradise Beach Luxury Accommodation offers a unique stay at one of New Zealand's best coastlines. Nestled between Mt Maunganui and Papamoa beach, owners Aaron and Sarah were inspired by their own experiences to create beautiful accommodation for guests to relax and enjoy.
"We wanted to create a luxury, coastal stay where people can make memorable holiday experiences, whether it's for a special occasion or family holiday," says Aaron.
Papamoa Beach Luxury Accommodation comprises of two adjoining apartments, stylishly named the "Beach Barns". The barns have been thoughtfully and tastefully designed inside and out. From luxurious furnishings and private courtyards to the delicious breakfast treats awaiting their guests on arrival - every detail has been carefully considered to leave an impression of warmth and elegance.
Translating the look and feel of the property into a visual identity
Take one look at the level of build and interior design at Paradise Beach Luxury Accommodation, and you'll quickly realise that Aaron and Sarah value good design. When they came to me to design their website, they were clear about the look and feel that they wanted their brand to evoke.
"We've worked with Liz before. She designed the websites for our other businesses at Paradise Building and Developments and The Gourmet Kitchen Company. We knew she could create for us the style that we needed," says Aaron. "It was an easy choice to work with her again."
Designing a branded website to make an attractive first impression
Once the website plan was complete, I then set about building a responsive website and chose to use Rocketspark as an ideal platform. A contemporary colour palette was created, along with branded design elements for custom icons, and the beach barn logos. Navigation is uncluttered, while content and imagery work in harmony to guide their visitors through their website.
"We initially wanted our images to do the talking, with plenty of white space and not too much text. But, as Liz explained, a website is hard to find online if there are only a few words. We wanted to tell our story, too. Having the content written for us was a good option; we just didn't have time to do it ourselves," says Aaron
Adding the final touches and working together for a successful launch
The final touches to the site included introducing a simple booking system so that Aaron and Sarah's property manager could take bookings directly, or guests could book through Airbnb. I also created private pages for the guests to view arrival information; this was so everything could be in one place, and unlike PDF attachments, the information could be seen easily on any device without the need to zoom in. Finally, I liaised with their property manager, De'arne, to ensure that she was confident managing the website and booking system.
"What a pleasure to work with you Liz. I appreciate your availability to answer any questions I have had while learning the booking side of our new accommodation website." - De'arne, Property Manager.
It's been a pleasure designing the website for Paradise Beach Luxury Accommodation. Take a peep at their new website online, or book to stay at this beautiful Papamoa coastal getaway: www.paradisebeach.co.nz
